Description
The nature of the role will be to work within a team of Developers and Technical Analysts to design, develop, test and implement SharePoint 2010 solutions to enhance the business. The role is not 100% programming and you will be involved with other technologies and projects, administrating and supporting.
Role
Your duties will include managing the resolution of technical issues, understand departmental requirements and to prioritise the roll out of their solutions.
The SharePoint Administrator will need to be articulate, personable and looking for a challenge with a minimum of two major SharePoint implementations (MOSS 2007).
Working with the organisation's internal systems and core applications.
A broad range of troubleshooting skills is required and experience with as many of the following technical packages as possible:
Skills
Extensive experience with MOSS 2007
Extensive experience with SharePoint Designer Strong SharePoint Development skills, preferably with at least 2 years of using SharePoint or 2 major implementations
Strong Development skills in associated Microsoft Technologies such MS Access, VB, SQL, HTML, SharePoint and Web Office. XSLT/Dataview web parts, HTML, CSS, JavaScript/jQuery
Competent communication skills with the ability to interact with Technical and Business staff to define SharePoint requirements
Demonstrable ability to write concise designs or technical documentation
Experience configuring out of the box SharePoint (client side development)

Requirements
Design, develop and maintain key components of the software suite using Microsoft .Net and SharePoint Server 2007 and 2010. Skills
Candidates must have excellent analytical skills, good knowledge of project life cycles and the ability to work in a team environment. We are seeking a SharePoint Solution Developer with 3+ years of experience as a SharePoint Developer in the analysis, design, hands-on development and delivery of web-based applications. In addition, a SharePoint Developer will have 2+ years’ experience with SharePoint Technologies (Windows SharePoint Services 3.0, Office SharePoint Server 2007, InfoPath, Forms Services, Excel Services, Search, Business Data Catalog and Web Services) in a variety of business environments. Must be able to assist in design and development reviews. Should be comfortable with direct communication with all levels of technical and business resources.
Other skills required for this position include
Strong knowledge of the .NET framework (C#) and associated technologies
Experience with Microsoft Office SharePoint Server, Microsoft Office Development
Experience with Web Services (WCF)
SharePoint 2010 beta is a plus
Good fundamental and hands on knowledge of MS SQL Server 2005/2008
Experience working with Agile (Scrum) project team development environments is preferred
Strong analytical skills and good problem solving skills.

Senior SharePoint Developer
SharePoint 2010 will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing and monitoring solutions built on SharePoint 2010. The individual will be required to work closely with the Applications Analyst and Business analysts in crafting solutions to meet a myriad of business needs. The development of solutions will be based primarily on core SharePoint 2010 functionality, inherent workflow capabilities and integration of 3rd party tools. Additional will include custom developed applications on the SP2010 platform.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities include the following:
Recommending, developing, implementing and monitoring technical standards and procedures
Ability to configure SharePoint 2010 functionality and create custom code where necessary
Ability to create technical specification documents and system design documents
Ability to create and execute test scripts according to project requirements
Participate in projects according to the project management methodology
Required Skills & Experience
Lead the design, development, customization and integration efforts of SP2010 solutions involving Collaboration, Portals, Enterprise Search, Enterprise Content Management, Business Process and Forms, Customer Web Parts
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or an equivalent combination of training and experience
5+ years of experience in an information systems environment, with strong knowledge of systems and technology architecture
5+ years of experience in SharePoint application development
1+ year experience in developing applications on the SP2010 platform using the appropriate tools
5+ years' experience with Visual Basic, ASP, C#, C++, WCF, SOA, XML, IIS, SQL, StSDev, StSAdm, and the .NET framework
Experience using;
Visual Studio 2008 or related IDE
with FAST Search and Knowledge of search indexing solutions
IIS Web Server, Nintex, Metalogix
Experience designing and deploying web-based technologies using Object-Oriented/User Control Methodologies
Experience working with business processes and developing detailed analysis of how to effectively deploy SharePoint Services throughout the enterprise environment
SP2010 features: Workflow (SPD2010, Visual Studio), Records Management, Business Data Catalog, Content Deployment, and Localization
Solid understanding of the SP2010 security model and integration with Active Directory
Background in taking 3rd party applications and orchestrating technology transfers
Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to write database queries, stored procedures
Preferred Knowledge & Skills
Experience with IIS Web Server (Configuration)
Knowledge of SSP and Central Administration Functions for SP2010
Experience with Virtual Server or VM Ware a plus
